1. Melodic Winds
This is actually the first song I ever composed, and it definitely sets the tone for the whole CD. It describes my positive nature as well as the fact that I like to compose music with a strong melody that expresses my emotions and, hopefully, yours. I immediately liked the title from the moment I thought of it. Not only that, but I also had a strong gut-feeling that this song would be the best of all and the hit of the CD, so I decided to use it for the title of the whole CD as well, although at that time I had not composed anything else!
2. Golden Years
This song is not about a specific event, but about me remembering all the good things that happened in my life and about my wish to relive them. That's why it has a special meaning to me.
3. Bright Day
It was a bright sunny day (a thing that fortunately happens very often here in Greece) and I was feeling great! That should be evident when you listen to this piece.
4. The Hymn of Heroes
This piece is a tribute to all the heroes. Not just to the ones from various wars, but to all the everyday heroes as well. Me, you, everybody that in our lives we have to fight for our dreams, our beliefs, our hopes for a better life and a better world.
5. A Walk in the Rain
I was walking down the streets of Thessaloniki in a rainy day, and the whole scenery made me remember some sad things from my life. That put me into the mood to compose something to express my sadness, and that is what happened instantly, while walking in the rain.
6. Weekend
It was one weekend when I felt very relaxed and optimistic. A mood perfectly captured in this piece.
7. Song for the Children
One day, my mother who was (and still is) very involved with The Greek Children's Village (an institution similar to The SOS Children Villages) told me half-joking: "Hey, why don't you compose something for the Children's Village?" As I love children, I found the idea very intriguing and, incredibly, on that same day I came up with this piece. Now this is recorded as the official song of The Greek Children's Village, and released as a CD single for its benefit . Please go to Song for the Children CD Single for all the details.
 8. A New Beginning
There have always been turning points in our lives when all we wanted to do was to put everything bad behind us and make a new beginning. Well, this has also happened to me. But to make a new beginning, you have to feel strong, determined and positive about your odds to succeed.
9. Sensitive Soul
If you like to think of yourself as a human, then you've got to have a sensitive soul. Sensitive enough to love, to feel, to understand, to hope, to dream. And if your soul is like that, then by all means follow it!
10. Broken Heart
You seldom find true and deep love. That's why your heart is really broken if you are unfortunate enough to lose it. This piece tries to describe the grief that you feel afterwards, a grief that is difficult to describe in words.
11. Passion for Life
If you really want to live your life, you have to be passionate for it. Because you have only one chance to live it.
12. Summer Island
On the summer of 1991 I visited one wonderful Greek island, Samos. My holidays there were so enjoyable, that I ended up composing this piece while I was still on the island.
13. Father's Memory
On the summer of 1992 my father passed away. This was one of the saddest moments of my life because I loved him so much. Just a few days after his funeral, I composed this piece about him. May his memory live through this piece. I consider this as the best piece I ever composed.
14. The Beauty of Nature
This piece is dedicated to the Nature. It tries to captures the feelings that all of us have when we have the beauty of Nature in front of our eyes. A beauty that is endangered from our thoughtless activities.
